Ace Cloud Hosting Review
2019 October 2nd
Ace Cloud Hosting is an application hosting provider, specializing in accounting software such as Sage and ATX. However, their main product is the service they provide for QuickBooks hosting.
But are they the best QuickBooks host?
My Ace Cloud Hosting review will break it down for you.
It's Easy to Get Started
Ace Cloud Hosting are keen to get you started quickly, so they dedicate a separate part of their site to QuickBooks. So if QuickBooks hosting is what you're looking for, the process will be massively simplified.
First, you're given the option to have a Live Chat with their customer support, who are available 24/7. Then, you can run a simple, clearly laid-out preview, or choose to take a free 30-day trial of the service.
I'd go with the latter if you'd like to test it out properly before you make a purchasing decision. After importing your own data and trying everything out in real-life situations, you'll have a better idea if Ace Cloud Hosting is what you need.
Ace Cloud Hosting Pricing
Depending on the application you want to host, there are several pricing structures within Ace Cloud Hosting. For Quickbooks, the basic option starts at $34 a month, with plans including mobile access beginning at $39.
Their enterprise option — including two-factor authentication — is a very reasonable $49.
There are also several discounted offers, including saving 30% for switching hosting provider and referral fees for bringing other business to AceCloud.
|Disk Space Limit||2GB||5GB||Unlimited||Unlimited|
|Access||Desktop||Desktop and mobile||Desktop and mobile||Desktop and mobile|
|Security||Firewall protection||Firewall protection||Firewall protection||Firewall protection and two-factor authentication|
|Open Office Add-On||No||Yes||Yes||Yes|
|Customer Support||24/7||24/7||24/7 + Premium support||24/7 + Premium support|
The difference in pricing between the four plans isn't actually that big. All plans offer 24/7 support, firewall protection, and daily backups.
However, if you're going to be using Ace Cloud Hosting on the go, then you should avoid the 'Basic' option as it doesn't offer mobile access.
In terms of storage, the professional option offers a competitive 5GB. But for permanent, ongoing use, you should look at 'Business' or 'Enterprise', as both offer unlimited storage.
Server performance is a very important thing for every host - even the one specializing in accounting software. After trying out Ace Cloud Hosting servers, the results were in: the response speed was pretty average. But there was no significant lag.
However, reliability was where Ace Cloud Hosting really came into its own. During the entire testing period, the servers didn't go down even once. And it seems to be completely normal, as Ace Cloud Hosting confidently offers a 99.999% uptime guarantee. I can't fault them here!
Who's it Good For?
There's no doubt that Ace Cloud Hosting is an excellent choice for QuickBooks hosting. It's easy to use, competitively priced and their customer support is genuinely top notch. Whenever you get in touch, you get immediate and clear responses.
I can conclude that even if you're new to hosting, you shouldn't have any issues with Ace Cloud Hosting. If any problems do happen to arise, their customer support is there 24/7 to save the day.
In terms of plans, the basic option isn't really fit for anyone operating above the level of a sole trader or small business. The storage is simply quite limited.
However, their 'business' plan packs a strong punch, offering unlimited storage, premium support and overall the best bang for your buck.
What do you think? Does Ace Cloud offer best Quickbooks service?
