The days of hiring $200/hr web designers are no longer a necessity for many small businesses, as easy-to-use web builders have taken the industry by storm.
And BlueVoda claims to be one exactly one of those options. Its drag-and-drop platform is supposed to help you "Build Your Own Website in 30 Minutes".
That sounds good in theory - but is it really a simple website-building solution that can replace a serious website designer?
In this BlueVoda review, I'll put it to the test.
BlueVoda - More Complicated Than Others
With them, you can edit pretty much anything on your browser for great convenience, wherever you are.
Well, with BlueVoda, you should know that it is a downloadable application and has no in-browser editor.
You have to install a piece of software just to edit a website - that sounds both frustrating and very inconvenient.
On the bright side, however, the download was quick, and I had no problems installing the software. You will have problems, however, if you use a Mac computer: the software won't be compatible with your device.
BlueVoda is only suitable for Windows users.
Which sounds fitting, considering the control panel quite literally looks like MS Word 2010.
The toolbar options are also very similar, while most of the templates seem very dated and almost rushed.
However, you do have the ability to set up a small eCommerce shop and link a PayPal shopping cart. You see, BlueVoda does offer enough tools to help you set up a site, but the site simply won't be intuitive or attractive enough.
Unfortunately, the design elements of BlueVoda seemed to have frozen many years ago, and this is probably the weakest point of this builder.
While its competitors release regular updates to stay on top of the game, BlueVoda does not.
And oh, it shows.
Fortunately, BlueVoda Is Free (Kind Of)
BlueVoda is technically free; you can download and use the builder for as long as you want. So if you want to give it a try to experience everything yourselves, you can do your own little BlueVoda review without even having to pay.
However, to be able to publish your website, you must have a VodaHost account. This is not free.
VodaHost Hosting Price
VodaHost offers its clients three subscription options: monthly, annual (12 months), or biennial (24 months). Its monthly prices start at $9.95 per month.
Annually, VodaHost will cost you $94.50 - which works out at $7.95 per month.
Paying biennially, the cost is $179, which works out at $7.45 per month.

|Number of Websites||Unlimited|
|Support||Support center and Forum|
While the eCommerce, SEO functions, unlimited bandwidth, and unmetered disk space are inviting features, I would have to be out of my mind to genuinely recommend BlueVoda website builder.
It just doesn't make sense to pay to publish one of these websites. But if you're still planning to - here's what its performance would be.
To review the performance of BlueVoda, I ran some tests to check how well it performs in the speed department.
It was a rather average result. Considering the servers are in the US, faster American speeds were expected. And the worldwide ones drop off significantly, resulting in a fairly average overall performance.
Not good, not awful either.
BlueVoda Review - Final Thoughts
Yes, you can build a BlueVoda site in just 30 minutes. Heck, you can build it in 10. The downside is, it'll likely look like something made in Microsoft Paint.
If I were you, I'd stay clear of BlueVoda. It's tacky, it isn't mobile friendly, and it's pretty expensive to publish your site. I cannot recommend it to anyone.
It's not a secret that there are many more 'a little bit' better website builders in the market.
And while some BlueVoda reviews praise the ease of use of this platform, it won't be much better than in most of the leading competitors' products.
Although, if you feel like experimenting and want to try BlueVoda, please feel free to share your own BlueVoda reviews and experiences below.
The heck with it, let's go all-in! You can post a link to your website if it was built exclusively with BlueVoda! We'll be happy to check it.
- It's free to test and edit
