DailyRazor is located in the US capital and offers a wide variety of web-related services.
But what makes DailyRazor stand out is the fact it has its own 460,000-square-foot data center. This certainly sets it apart from the masses of providers that use third-party facilities.
However, you should never buy a book just because the cover is appealing.
So, I asked myself: are these Washington-based hosting services really as presidential as their location suggests?
First things first, Daily Razor opts for a relatively sober and serious appearance to the front end of its website.
I liked the fact that the developers have been keen to outline the prices and features involved in plans as quickly as possible.
It’s also nice that the site has separate sections for Windows and Linux, making it easier to navigate the site based on your operating system.
And when you go to check out the hosting options available, you'll immediately see that there is practically an option for every kind of user. The range on offer (from WordPress to Java Cloud and Tomcat hosting) is huge.
But it doesn't just stop at hosting.
DailyRazor also provides general web-related services.
Anything from SEO to Graphic Design is covered.
This will prove super helpful to some users, as it allows you to get all the services you need from one place rather than having to trust and build relationships with numerous different providers.
When it comes to pricing, DailyRazor is really affordable. Its prices start from as little as $1.95/month and that's with unlimited bandwidth and unlimited storage.
There's a 15-day trial available too, so you can try before you buy.
Plans in More Detail
You can see more details on three of the packages offered by DailyRazor in the table below:
|Price Per Month||$1.95||$3.15||$5.24|
|Disk Space Limit||1 GB||2 GB||3 GB|
|SSD / HDD||SSD||SSD||SSD|
|Money Back Guarantee||30-day||30-day||30-day|
|Customer Support||24/7 Email||24/7 Email||24/7 Email|
I was really impressed with the Personal plan, as you get a free SSL certificate and 24/7 customer support for just $1.95/month.
However, there is too little disk space in the Professional and Enterprise plans for an upgrade to be worthwhile. You can get better plans at those prices from other providers.
During my DailyRazor review, I tested the site on Bitcatcha. You can see the results below:
Unfortunately, DailyRazor didn’t perform too well in this department. You may encounter issues if your focal audience is located in Asia. Although, if your business is USA-based, you shouldn't have any problems with the response times.
As assumed, though, speeds for the United States were pleasantly quick.
My DailyRazor Review Verdict
DailyRazor reviews have been consistently excellent, and I can certainly see why.
The web hosting provided by this company is fast and stable throughout the western world, and the value on offer in the Personal plan is terrific. For a free SSL, unlimited bandwidth and a 30-day money-back guarantee, it's hard to get a better deal.
I wouldn't recommend any other plans with DailyRazor though, as disk space remains limited throughout.
