GVO(short for Global Virtual Opportunities) offers a variety of IT services, and among them is web hosting. The site promotes its unlimited disk space and bandwidth as being a major plus point of its services.
But is that unlimited any good?
GVO - First Impression
One worrying sign was that gogvo.com has seemingly lacked an SSL certificate. It's a very important thing for pretty much every business. And it's weird to see a hosting provider don't have it, out of everyone!
The design looks quite outdated, as well. So in a way, it felt like the website was built several years ago and not updated since. To be fair it looks like the website for your local gym. Weird.
But it's not the design that matters the most - it's the services. So let's take a deeper dive and have a look at those prices.
GVO makes three different plans available for its customers, with all of them towards the affordable end of the market. This is not a bad thing, as GVO is clearly aimed at SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises.)
Ranging from $5.56 per month to $11.96 per month, the plans delivered by GoGVO are all in a similar ballpark.
But all three of them should be within the budget of most subscribers.

One of the things I particularly liked with GVO was its commitment to making all of the feature set of its products as clear as possible.
Literally, the only thing that differentiates the packages is the number of domains that each one covers. This is great, as it makes things incredibly simple for us customers. If you've got just 1 domain you need to cover, go with Personal.
You get unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth, and unlimited email accounts.
At $5.56/month you may get similar packages for less though - at least there's also a 30-day guarantee, so there's no harm in trying it!
During my GVO review, I tested the site on Bitcatcha. You can see the results below:
I was perhaps expecting it to perform a little better than it did, but throughout the Western world is still managed to deliver above-average speeds. The only moderate issues come in Asia, so GVO's viability depends on where your audience is.
Rounding Up My GVO Review
GVO would seem to be an ideal web hosting provider for SMEs on the West side of the globe, with a commitment to delivering unlimited packages that don’t restrict users.
The web hosting on offer with GVO is reliable and stable, although many GVO reviews have noted that customer service offered by the company can be below par.
Nonetheless, I love this site's commitment to unlimited space. While it's a tad expensive, anyone looking for a user-friendly web hosting solution might consider GoGVO as a valid option.
All together - GOGVO is a decent provider but there are some cheaper and faster hosting options in the market so don't forget to check them out, before making the final decision.
