Jumpline hosting was established in 1997, and proudly offers shared web hosting powered by cPanel as their main feature.
While cPanel isn't the feature that web hosting providers usually brag about, maybe Jumpline will shine in other areas?
Let's take a closer look at this hosting provider to find this out.
Jumpline - First Impression
Firstly, it was nice to see that Jumpline offers a range of different features to help get your website up and running.
Multiple FTP accounts, IMAP/POP email accounts, antispam solutions and, of course, cPanel, working with Softaculous. This will allow you to install a number of apps onto your domain with one click.
I also noticed that all of Jumpline’s pricing options include email, with a dedicated email address and time management tools such as integrated calendars and to-do lists.
They also claim 99.9% uptime with its hosting packages - which is always welcome.
However, not so surprisingly, this is quite a lie. After testing their hosting for several months, I found that its servers were actually down frequently.
And it wasn't just me either, other Jumpline reviews suggested that this was an ongoing issue for them too.
This is a real shame considering the importance of almost-constant uptime.
At the time of writing Jumpline offers three pricing options: Stacked, Layered, and Expanded. Every option can be paid either yearly or monthly, with around 50% discount for paying yearly.
The Stacked plan ($10.35/month) includes 10GB SSD storage and 100GB bandwidth, the Layered plan ($15.45/month) contains 15GB SSD storage and 150 GB bandwidth, while the Expanded plan ($20.65/month) offers 20GB SSD storage and 200GB bandwidth.
It must be said that this is one of the most expensive options for hosting that I've seen, given what it offers for your money.

In addition, there are several purchasable upgrades offered for Jumpline hosting, including a dedicated IP address, an additional 50GB of bandwidth, and SSL certificates.
I was also disappointed to see that there is no money back guarantee offered by Jumpline.
How Does Jumpline Perform?
Jumpline's performance varies depending on where you are in the world.
To be completely honest, their website response times were actually rather decent overall. This was in line with my experience using this provider (when the servers were actually online!)
Jumpline Review - Final Words
Upon testing Jumpline, I wasn't too impressed. Even their website looks sketchy - SSL doesn't work and lots of claims, contradicting with the user reviews, floating around the internet.
From my personal experience testing this provider, I cannot recommend its services. I expereinced lots of downtime, and the packages that are on offer are not good value for money. There is also a tonne of other bad customer reviews online.
