NameSecure Review

NameSecure is a hosting company that attempts to offer everything within hosting and domain registering.

Although it's ideal to keep these services under one roof, I was intrigued to see how well they managed this.
Getting Started
The first thing that struck me on the NameSecure homepage was that it was like something stuck in the ’90s. That's right, it reminded me of when I first started using the internet.
However, I don't like judging a book by its cover, so let's see how they perform in other areas.
I decided to test its customer support.
Now, when there are problems with a service, you expect customer support to help you quite quickly, right?
Well this wasn’t the case with NameSecure. In fact, trying to get a response at all from customer service was difficult, and often involved long waits. Trying to get useful assistance was like pulling teeth too, and requests were often bounced back with an insistence that it was your own fault - which I found to be quite patronizing.
After checking out other NameSecure reviews, it came out that customer support wasn't just an issue for me either.

This is a major black mark on this company, as when you do inevitably have a problem, good support is essential.
On top of that, if you have an established website and wish to switch hosts, other reviewers have said that NameServer frequently locks down the site for up to a month. So, if you’re running an online business, this could potentially destroy your income!
Not exactly the best start to my review by any means.
NameSecure Hosting Pricing
At the time of writing, NameSecure has four hosting plans: Value, Professional, Professional PLUS and Commercial.

The Value plan is priced at $10.92/month, the Professional plan is priced at $15.95/month, the Professional PLUS plan is priced at $18.95 per month, and the final Commercial plan is priced at $39.95 per month.
This is one of the more expensive options for hosting I’ve seen, and given what’s included and various issues that crop up, I’d most certainly suggest that you look elsewhere for your hosting needs.

How Does NameSecure Hosting Perform?
NameSecure provides average speeds, but loading times may vary depending on where you are located in the world.
When servers were actually online, my experiences were in line with these results.

Final Words In My NameSecure Review
In my time using NameSecure, I really struggled to find any benefits to using it. It was frequently down while trying to get it back online was incredibly frustrating.
Honestly, I couldn’t recommend NameSecure to anyone wanting to host a website. It’s just too problematic.
