If you're looking for new and inventive ways to redesign your web design workflow, I may have the answer to your prayers with Sitejet.
This high-performance CMS gives you complete creative freedom to build responsive websites, manage projects and automate tasks, all from the same platform. It's available as a free demo or paid product and its workflow solution claims to save you up to 50% of your time.
Upon landing on its website, one of the first things I noticed was the option to create templates and save your designs. But to get you started, there are many pre-built fully-responsive templates to choose from so that you can get going in record time. And they all look stunning...
The WYSIWYG editor that it uses looks sleek and professional. Plus, thanks to the helpful tips that are displayed, customization is made super easy and beginner friendly.
It consists of a drag-and-drop functionality that you use to build up the layout and content on your website. Adding presets will create the layout of your website while adding elements (such as text, buttons, sliders, and icons) will make up your content.
And there's an option to edit almost everything - colors, fonts, layouts, logo - you name it, it's there.
In addition to its design options, Sitejet offers integrated hosting, HTML, CSS and JS code flexibility, backup and restore, and online feedback features.
So far, so good from Sitejet. Now let's take a look at its pricing.
Sitejet Pricing and Plans
Let's take a look at the three available plans and features.
|Number of Templates||35||35||35|
|Number of Hosted Websites||1||2||10|
|Connect a Custom Domain||Yes||Yes||Yes|
|Support||E-mail/Chat/Phone||Priority Email/Chat/Phone||Priority Email/Chat/Phone|
|Multi-users & Role Management||N/A||Up to 5 users||Up to 10 users|
|eCommerce||Ecwid integration||Ecwid Integration||Ecwid Integration|
For $25.00 per month, it's fairly clear to see why the Team plan is the most popular. It has that all-important priority support, up to 5 users and 2 hosted websites. For budding entrepreneurs, this is a great plan to support your business and watch it grow.
To complete the performance of Sitejet, I ran some tests to see how well it performs in the speed field.
The results are in - and it's impressive stuff from Sitejet. In countries such as the UK, Japan, and even India - users can expect great response times.
Prior to testing Sitejet, I fired over some questions regarding the exact number of templates available. And not only were my questions answered almost immediately, but I was also asked to give template recommendations as they were set to add an extra 40 templates.
After I recommended a template designed for musicians, I even got an exclusive demo of one of the templates that was being prepared to hit the shelves!
One other important thing that my live chat experience revealed was that Sitejet is currently working on implementing an eCommerce solution, which gives any online store owners something to look forward to. But for the meantime, they recommend integrating Ecwid.
Sitejet Review - Conclusion
An impressive performance all around from Sitejet, and I'm struggling to find anything negative with this platform. If I had to choose something, I would ask questions as to why there isn't a free plan.
Other that not having a free plan, it's a solid overall performance from Sitejet. Sitejet's editor is a joy to use, the support system is responsive, friendly, and their price plans are as flexible as the template options on offer - I would definitely recommend it.
If you have tried Sitejet yourself, please feel free to share your own Sitejet reviews in the comments section below.
