WPX Hosting offers several lofty claims for its managed hosting on their website, including “3x Your Site Speed”.
But don't jump out of your seat just yet...
Just because a provider says it offers something, doesn't mean it's always true. It may be, it may not be - the only way to find out is by testing it.
Enter, my WPX Hosting review.
My First Impressions of WPX Hosting
WPX offers managed WordPress (hence WP-X) hosting options which are ideal for big businesses. By choosing managed hosting, this allows businesses and creators to get on with the things they enjoy doing, without having to worry about hosting maintenance.
As for the way WPX Hosting markets itself, it's immediately evident that it has an absolute no-mercy attitude. There are literally several bold claims comparing it to other providers, while it even has a table showing a comparison, of course boasting its service as the winner.
I must say, though, it's a nice show of confidence in its services. Oh, and for those interested in the TrustPilot score, WPX Hosting has 123 reviews at the time of writing. Admittedly, that's pretty impressive in comparison to the majority of other providers.
I was also quite impressed with the live chat box that appeared after being on the site for a few minutes.
A little help is always appreciated - so having someone pop up asking if you need any help is always welcome.
The fact that they responded in virtually 0.2 seconds was even better!
The only downside to this support feature, though, is that you have to pop your name and email address in the box before you actually receive any help.
Slightly annoying, but still helpful.
WPX Hosting Pricing
At the time of writing, WPX Hosting offers three pricing options: Business, Professional and Elite.
The Business plan ($24.99/month) includes 10GB SSD storage and 100GB bandwidth, the Professional plan ($49.99/month) contains 20GB SSD storage and 200GB bandwidth, and the Elite plan ($99.99/month) contains 40GB SSD storage and unlimited bandwidth.
Each can be paid monthly or annually, with annual payments having a slight discount ($20.83/month, $41.58/month and $83.25/month respectively).

Although these prices seem could seem expensive, they are well priced for managed WordPress hosting options.
And on top of that, WPX Hosting offers a free SSL certificate and a money back guarantee with each package.
How Does WPX Hosting Perform?
WPX Hosting provides average speeds around the globe; not exceptional, but not bad by any means.
WPX Hosting Review Round-Up
After putting WPX Hosting's services to the test over the last 7 months, it turns out that WPX Hosting does live up to its bold claims.
However, because it is managed hosting, it is, of course pricier than standard shared hosting. Therefore I wouldn't be able to recommend it to anyone other than larger projects with bigger budgets.
For the amount offered in each plan, though, the price is fair and competitive when compared with other managed hosting plans. So, if you're in the market for a WP managed hosting option with terrific TrustPilot reviews, WPX Hosting is a good shout.
